- The paper shows that children successfully taught the robot, using reinforcement learning algorithm, and collaborated with each other in order to do this. The learning methods are now incorporated into the Kaspar robot, now termed as Kaspar+. An application has passed the first stage for a funding bid to the Baily Thomas foundation and a bid for NIHR (£1.7m) is in the review pipeline to explore the effectiveness of the new Kaspar+. Three robot loans to the Netherlands Hogeschool Zuyd for the Kaspar+ robot have also been made to take the research forward.in collaboration.
