- "The output from this research has gained recognition from multiple companies including Flinders Resources and Bechtel Oil. Discussions are underway with Bechtel Oil, Gas & Chemicals (Jorge T. Aguinaldo, Chief Technology Officer, Email: jaguinal@bechtel.com) on how we can support their commercial full-scale plant and intend to take this forward for KTP Funding. The organic extractants developed from this research for acid recovery are currently being tested in other areas of application such as for the recovery of rhenium. For example, Central South University, China recently reported using coated impregnated resins containing Alamine 336 to recover rhenium. See link below:
