- This article presents partial results from ANR WaQMoS (ANR 14-CE04-0002) project. It presents an innovative fault detection algorithm to detect oscillation fault in marine biology applications. The algorithm is validated through real-life datasets obtained from the sea and laboratory experiment. The proposed algorithm has potential application in several other engineering disciplines notable aerospace (actuator oscillatory fault in electronic flight control system, relevant patent: US20140372078A1) and rotating machinery. This work is the result of interdisciplinary collaboration between marine biologists and control engineers.
