- This work provides novel research findings for shape-changing interfaces which are highly complex devices, surfaces or spaces for computational interaction. The project was impactful as it was public-facing and forged links with the local town, allowing people a window into new technology being developed at Lancaster, and also offering the chance to suggest future research directions. This large scale (n=74), public-facing study has been used as evidence in applying for further successful research funding by one of the authors (ERC). Additionally, it has been used as the basis for further peer reviewed and published outputs.
