- Double-weighted statement
- This monograph was the product of 5 years of sustained fieldwork and secondary analysis of the mobilisation of gender issues by right-wing parties in the Netherlands, Italy and France. It was funded by the Cluster of Excellence at Konstanz and the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton. Different methodologies, including semi-structured interviews, participant observation, secondary analysis of Eurostat data and Labour Force Survey microdata and textual analysis of official political documents, were employed. The generation and analysis of a substantial body of data, the comparative scope of the argument, and the original theoretical contribution it offers, merits double-weighting.
