- Uses of Values in Legal Education represents a synthesis of work across several disciplines: law, legal education, education, philosophy, and psychology. It is a seminal contribution to the international legal educational field. The themes, contents and analysis which culminated in the book were developed over 15 years of research. It adds significantly to the literatures on higher education, legal education, ethics education, and the role of identity formation in adult education. It interrogates the role of values in legal education, in student motivation and engagement, and in education that facilitate ethical behaviours in practice.
