- This is the first paper to join together experimental scanning data and computer simulations to better understand how structure and function are related in collagen fibres and fibrils. The study required a new international and interdisciplinary collaboration between Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique and the University of Oxford. The study was funded by Arthritis Research UK Grant Number 20299, and has 6 citations so far.
