- This monograph was the main output of an ESRC project (PI: Tusting). Hamilton and Barton worked approximately 0.2-0.4FTE, while McCulloch and Bhatt were 1.0FTE. Research instruments were designed together; McCulloch and Bhatt recruited participants, collected and analysed most of the data. McCulloch established the data management system; data analysis was discussed at weekly meetings. Book structure and content were determined together, and McCulloch reviewed the introduction and conclusion (drafted by Tusting). Of eight remaining chapters, McCulloch drafted three in full (reviewed by Tusting, Hamilton, Barton). McCulloch reviewed the other chapters, and later assisted with checking proofs and indexing.
