- As a Co-PI of GAMA, Bamford contributed significantly to producing the parent dataset used in this paper, including the definition of the target catalogue and carrying out spectroscopic observations. Within the GAMA team, he worked in particular on the process of producing structural measurements from the optical and near-infrared data combined by GAMA, which provided valuable input to the measurements used in this work. Finally, he provided scientific comments on the text of the paper during preparation.
