- Spencer‘s group synthesised and optimised the scaled-up synthesis of the probe molecule, C28, notably using microwave chemistry. They also crucially determined the regiochemistry of the coupling reactions leading to this molecule. Additionally, Spencer collated and interpreted the data and helped in reviewing and editing the publication.
