- Double-weighted statement
- This output required the collection and analysis of a wide variety of sources, including playtexts, prompt books, private correspondence, critical works, and reviews. The latter were especially important as the book examines the experience of watching plays in performance. The project was underpinned by substantial archival research in the British Library, the Bodleian (Oxford), the Huntington (California), and the Harry Ransom Center (Texas) between 2012 and 2018.
