- Additional information
- Funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 51576005) and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation (3142004), this paper has provided a basis for understanding the advanced knowledge of micro pin-fin heat sinks used for high heat flux cooling for electronics. The findings help explain complex fluid flow phenomena and provide an understanding of the mechanisms of heat transfer enhancement for such systems. The work has strengthened existing collaborations and continuation is the subject of current active bids.
