- This invited chapter presents a novel interdisciplinary exploration of opportunities for music games to enrich music education, embodying fundamental musical concepts and authenticating formal participation to informal contexts. The work lead to continuing collaboration with academics and industry, including the University of Ghent, MIT, and Earth Tones, award of an AHRC International Network Grant entitled 'Guitar Heroes in Music Education? Music-based video-games and their potential for musical and performative creativity', and related publication of an invited chapter in Music Video Games: Performance, Politics and Play.
