- Additional information
- This paper reported a custom circuit design with the shortest recovery time of any comparable SPAD array device (at that time), showing the potential of SPAD arrays to achieve high data rate (in excess-of 1Gbit/s). This work led to further funding (EPSRC EP/R00689X/1, Super Receivers for Visible Light Communications) where such data rates were demonstrated and exceeded (>3Gbit/s).
