- The battery chargers for fast electric vehicle charge are an important part of the future electric transport system. The presented analysis depicts a buck-boost converter topology that has the ability to operate as a step-up or a step-down converter improving the abilities of the currently developed systems. The analysis of the system, supported by an experimental verification shows its application in a wide range of fast charger stations. Also, the system is simplified to the usage of several powerful modules, which will have a positive impact on its economic model if accepted for mass production.
