- Double-weighted statement
- This book draws upon a sustained and in-depth research investigation into the normative underpinnings of education policy-making. In keeping with all publications in the field of normative political theory, it took a significant amount of time to come to fruition. The development of the book was supported with grant funding from the Spencer Foundation that facilitated a multi-layered process of research collaboration across the fields of political theory, philosophy, public policy and education studies. The case for double weighting rests upon the sustained research effort, the depth of the investigation, and the creative process of theoretical investigation.
