- Double-weighted statement
- This single-authored monograph, at 360 pages, examines in detail the intertwining of urban policies, economies and symbolism in New York City over 40 years. This extensive analysis of archival material and policy documents over several years helps systematically explains how the city was reshaped in the interests of elite groups over four decades. The breadth and depth of the analysis required its presentation in book length form. It contains academic content equivalent to several individual outputs, as evidenced by the publication of Chapters 1 and 5 as associated peer reviewed articles.
