- This anthology grew out of the submitting author’s research on the politics of poetry. The author edited the book alone, with help from her publisher, Test Centre, on the side of rights acquisitions with respect to the anthology contributions. Comprising 29 extended excerpts from book- or pamphlet-length translations (as opposed to one-off translations of individual source texts), the author’s research insights are evidenced in her extended introduction and paratextual material (each anthology contribution is introduced by an approximately 300-word contextualising note with details on the translation processes involved) as well as in the concept and organisation of the anthology itself.
