- Double-weighted statement
- Double-weighting is requested on the following grounds. This is a book-length study of some 130,000 words that rests upon the collection and analysis of a large body of material (scores of collections and papers from archives across the UK). The methodology was multi-layered. It involved the triangulation of diverse materials from peace archives, media archives, state archives, labour archives and the papers of key individuals and public figures. Extensive use was also made of newspaper archives and multimedia collections on digital repositories such as JISC.
