- Additional information
- This paper is significant because the work is the first to add federated identity management (FIM) to OpenStack - the most popular open-source cloud-computing package. Our unique design was protocol independent. Our design and implementation formed the basis for the open source release that is now a key feature of OpenStack and supported by all the main suppliers. The lead author was invited to the W3C Verifiable Credentials working group in 2017 and co-authorship of the resulting Recommendation (https://www.w3.org/TR/vc-data-model/).
