- The paper introduces a model based testing method using a class of P systems, called identifiable P systems. The paper makes three key contributions: it investigates fundamental properties of the class of identifiable P systems, a new class of P systems, it shows how these are converted to a special class of X-machines and develops a testing method for these models. The paper opens up new research avenues with respect to the above mentioned topics, making fundamentally new connections between a class of P systems and model based testing.
