- Led to a grant from the US Air Force Office of Scientific Research ($124k USD, FA9550-17-1-0133). Contributed to the independence of Lloyd Fletcher through a Leverhulme Early Career Research Fellowship (£81k, ECF-2018-21). The composites company Solvay provided in-kind support for tests which were presented at an invited symposium in Brussels (Dr Ezio Gandin, ezio.gandin@solvay.com). Consulting work was conducted for JRM Engineering, UK based on the test method (£30k, Mr Tobias Wiesand, twiesand@jrm-group.com) with additional work planned for 2020. Established a new collaboration with the Office National d'Etudes et de Recherches Aérospatiales (ONERA), France (Dr Julien Berthe, julien.berthe@onera.fr).
