- Additional information
- In addition to her essay for this volume (pp.220-44), Elizabeth Swann was also co-editor of the collection. The volume of eleven essays (plus introduction and afterword) was conceived together by the editors, all of whom shared equal responsibility for inviting contributors and reading and requesting revisions of original drafts of all the essays (and in some cases, second drafts). She also contributed equally to other editorial tasks including correspondence with the publisher, regularizing referencing where necessary, completing an initial copyedit of the full manuscript, and compiling the bibliography. She also co-authored the introduction (pp.1-15).
