- Double-weighted statement
- 160,000 word research monograph drawing on research over three years across a large and difficult-to-access body of primary materials (over a dozen extant manuscripts dispersed in eleven repositories across Europe, namely in the UK, France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland). The book analyses and interprets primary and secondary materials (several of the primary materials previously unedited) across a range of languages (Latin, French, German, English) and employs palaeographic and codicological techniques (incl. 3D-imaging technologies) requiring high levels of training and technical expertise.
