- Double-weighted statement
- This is the first substantial monograph written on the geographies of fashion and is the product of sustained research effort over six years. It reports extended conceptual research by combining a range of inter-disciplinary theoretical framings and offers critical insight into new concepts such as bio-commodification, dissociation and the bio geography of clothes. The work develops 5 key conceptual approaches that have not hitherto been brought into simultaneous view, works across several scales, combines this with new empirical material and offers a new 'theory for the geographies of fashion'.
