- The Maitland Quarto Manuscript: A New Edition of Cambridge, Magdalene College, Pepys Library 1408 (AHRC-supported), the product of 4 years' work, is the first critical edition of this sixteenth-century manuscript collection. It offers newly transcribed and edited texts of 95 Older Scots poems, accompanied by a full scholarly apparatus: an analytical introduction (40 pages), a glossary and full explanatory notes, including textual notes recording the relationship of the manuscript’s texts to four other witnesses. The whole amounts to pp. ix + 530.
