- This detailed and wide-ranging monograph (c.140,000 words; 427pp; 18 illustrations) provides the first comprehensive analysis of epiphany in Greek religious thought and practice. It underlines the centrality of epiphany in Greek cultural production and foregrounds its impact on ancient Greek political and societal organization. The monograph comprises the results of extensive research conducted over the timespan of 3 research fellowships at the British Institute of Archaeology in Ankara (2007-8), the Humboldt University in Berlin (2010-13) and the Max Weber Center of Erfurt University (2013-16).
