- This 50,000 word monograph was the result of a sustained investigation into evaluation of media development, explored in considerable depth and in relation to different contexts (Cambodia and the Pacific Island Region). It is the product of research effort undertaken over six years (2011-2017). Findings from 2011-2014 were significantly tested and advanced through two projects (Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage grants LP120200705: 2012-2015; LP130100176: 2014-2017). This included two Participatory Action Research (PAR) workshops in remote Pacific Islands (Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu: approximately 20 participants) and ongoing PAR.
