- Double-weighted statement
- This monograph is based on three years research. It uses a combination of doctrinal, socio-legal and comparative methods. A significant part of the monograph is based on an analysis of interviews, which were conducted with lawyers, medical doctors and policy makers in various EU Member States over a two-year period. The topic, European standardisation of services, is highly complex, and is analysed from the perspective of EU law, private law and medical law. This integrated approach – in combination with the empirical research – leads to a new and critical argument on the interaction between European standardisation and the law.
