- The book is a major work carried out between 2008 and 2017 and took an estimated 1/3 of the author’s time. The novel ambition was to apply techniques from vector-bundle theory such as Chern classes and Riemann-Roch theorem, to study modular representations of finite groups. The project was successful and is the body of this work. The book contains a large amount of new results, many examples and a list of open problems. The material on BGG correspondence in sections 8 .11 and 8.13 was pre-published as a journal article before 2014 and submitted for assessment to REF2014.
