- This special issue is an output of a British Academy funded project, Crime and its Representation in the Anglophone Caribbean, 1834-2018, for which Evans was the Principal Investigator. Evans organised three workshops in the UK, Jamaica and Trinidad, which involved participants from the UK and across the Caribbean region. Following the workshops, Evans invited five other network members with relevant interests to contribute to the special issue. Evans developed the core concept and critical framework for the special issue, and managed the submission, review and editing of all six articles which included one sole- authored article (#6: c. 10,000 words). Evans was then joined by Kerrigan, a core network member, for further editing of the articles. Evans co-authored (50%) the 8000-word introduction to the special issue, which situates the six articles in relation to broader debates in Caribbean and feminist criminology.
