- This paper represents the most comprehensive reporting output of EPSRC First Grant Award (EP/I037032/1) 'Enhancing transport technologies to support personal security in travel by public transport'. As such, it provides new insights into personal security issues associated with public transport in the UK. The research has helped further establish my (MB) status as a recognised expert in the field as evidenced by my subsequent invitation to conduct an evidence review of the security and future of mobility by the UK Government Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, as part of their Foresight programme on the Future of Mobility.
