- This is the first book length analysis of the rise of corruption in English schooling, detailing the corrupted practices which have accompanied major governance reforms. More than 3800 media articles were collected and analysed over six years; alongside a large number of policy documents, parliamentary statements and other official sources; think tank reports, historical sources, and academic research. The book argues for a public good framing of education reform, taking an interdisciplinary approach, which brings into the educational discussion scholarship from political theory, public administration and organisational studies.
