- Double-weighted statement
- This 120,000-word output is an extended and complex piece of research, taking ten years. The key challenge was mapping across different types of source (media publications, news sources, oral histories, regression analyses of polling data, etc.) and then turning this into a cogent narrative. This book demanded a laborious study of non-standard research documents (including ephemera such as fan magazines and every extant film and television appearance The Beatles made).
