- Double-weighted statement
- This book-length monograph constitutes in-depth studies with the large bodies of work of two major intellectual figures (the philosopher Henri Bergson and the author Philip K. Dick), while also developing a sustained argument about the relationship between fiction and culture with potential significance and implications across several fields (including literature, philosophy, cultural studies, social theory and science fiction studies). It is the product of several years’ research, with roots in doctoral work funded by the AHRC, and with the final manuscript having been completed partly with the support of a Humboldt Foundation award.
