- Data have become the core assets of many companies and big data strategies have been widely applied to industrial systems. The key challenging issue is how to use real-time data to obtain optimal performance of practical systems. The data-based networked predictive control method proposed in this paper successfully utilises data to model nonlinear uncertain system dynamics and achieve desired optimal control performance and active communication constraint compensation of networked systems, which is unsolved by existing methods. This pioneering outcome validated in a practical test-rig has been extended further in authors’ hot paper (DOI:10.1007/s11424-017-5308-4) recognised by Clarivate Analytics .
