- Gray co-organized the collaborative workshop for which the key aim was to bring a number of internationally distributed groups together to design and implement this comparison project. At the workshop Gray led discussions on the scientific aims and the analysis plans. Gray was joint PhD supervisor for the lead author (Old), who was selected to lead the project and who performed the analysis and wrote the majority of the paper. Gray provided scientific guidance at each stage of the project and had input into multiple drafts of the paper.
