- Additional information
- This paper developed a novel numerical scheme for coupling the shallow water equations with rigid-body dynamics in real-time. Additional contributions include porting to a GPU to ensure responsiveness of the visual simulation by exploiting the low-level features of GPU architecture. This work was showcased at the premier GPU conference – Nvidia’s Graphics Technology Conference (GTC) in 2018. The method was intended for use in real-time applications such as games. The research was part of the UKRI Main Exhibition Stand at the American Association for the Advancement of Science 2019 conference showcasing state of the art game applications.
