- This study proposes CYDON, an innovative platform which uses blockchain technology to regulate access to confidential information, allowing transparent analysis and faster incident response. The significance of this study stems from the novel algorithm, covered by UK Patent no 1812770.4. This work has been funded under the Department of Culture, Media & Sports (DCMS) as part of the Cyber Security Academic Startups Accelerator Programme (ASAP). CYDON platform also gave rise to a company which competed for the title of the UK’s Most Innovative Small Cyber Security Company, as well as being selected as a finalist for DCMS Pitchfest 2019.
