- The work enables the use of ME-distribution fitting tools in Markovian evaluation approaches and supports the generation of random PH distributions for testing new PH algorithms. It was implemented in the BuTools 2 toolbox for performance evaluation, and was described as “one of the most valuable tools in the PH package” (https://doi.org/10.4108/eai.25-10-2016.2266400). The work results from a collaboration between Freie Universität Berlin and Technical University of Budapest.
