- In this research we pioneered the measurement of alternating current magnetisation loops of nanoparticles in live cells. This work was supported by the European Commission (H2020 NOCANTHER, 685795; FP7 Mag(net)icFun 290248). Dissemination occurred through an invited talk in INTERMAG 2018, and an oral communications in the 23rd Soft Magnetic Materials Conference and the 9th JEMS conference. The work described within formed a component of Dr David Cabrera’s PhD Thesis and was instrumental in his subsequent progression towards a Sir Henry Wellcome Fellowship and in Dr Francisco Teran’s promotion to Research Professor position at IMDEA Nanoscience, Madrid.
