- Double-weighted statement
- The monograph offers a significant contribution to Foucauldian scholarship and critical legal theory not only in terms of its length and scope, but also because it is the result of a very complex, detailed, and multi-layered analysis which addresses from different perspectives (legal, philosophical and sociological) an expansive range of sources and materials concerning both the history of philosophy of law (from Aquinas to Hayek), and the causes and effects of the three major revolutions (English, American, and French) that have established our current legal landscape. Hence the monograph represents a major sustained research effort that warrants double weighting.
