- This paper is the result of an EPSRC/Industry (GR/T26757/01 - £267k) funded project in conjunction with the University of Sheffield, National Physical Laboratory and Messier-Dowty (Saffran Group). The paper was the first validated approach to automatically locating and detecting fatigue cracks in a high noise environment. The paper has resulted in invited talks; IET National Seminar and 14th Conference on Experimental Mechanics 2019 and a keynote at the World Congress on Acoustic Emission in China (2019).
