- This paper develops the new methodology and WaterMet2 tool that have resulted in wide applications for improved urban water management. WaterMet2 was first demonstrated in Oslo city in Norway for full urban water cycle but later it has frequently been used for several cities in the world including Reggio-Emilia in Italy, Purisima and San Francisco del Rincon in Mexico, Kerman and Sari in Iran, Santa Cruz Island in Ecuador and Christchurch in New Zealand. The WaterMet2 tool was used in the EPSRC-funded project (EP/P004318/1) http://www.urbanfloodresilience.ac.uk/publications/factsheets.aspx for evaluating metabolism-based performance of Urban Flood Resilience in Ebbsfleet Garden city development, Kent.
