- This 351 page, 10 chapter monograph has international resonance and reach. It offers the reader a comprehensive analysis of the issues that impact on mental health across the whole lifecourse, including later life. It is situated on the intersection of the lifecourse approach, critical gerontology and a lens that foregrounds the role played by inequalities. Bringing together material from a wide range of different sources and subject areas was a huge task. Ensuring that the book offered depth and detail, including illustrative examples to support key arguments, whilst retaining a coherent narrative was a significant time rich and complex challenge.
