- This paper presents a novel route for biopolymer dissolution, having practical implications. The leading author Fengwei Xie has presented this work as a Keynote Speaker in GDR-LIPS, 15–16/10/2018, Lyon, France; a Plenary Speaker in BioPoli 2018, 23-25/04/2018, Bahía Blanca, Argentina; an Invited Speaker in NMS-XIII, 15–20/10/2017, Nanjing, China; and during the NFU’s WMG visit. Xie has established a new link with Prof Shujun Wang (TUST; sjwang@tust.edu.cn) for further research. The first author Binjia Zhang (zhangbj@mail.hzau.edu.cn) has graduated his PhD from SCUT and is now an Associate Professor at HZAU awarded as a Young Talent by the Chinese S&T Association.
