- Mobile apps have the potential to support the development of healthy habits. This paper is significant because it describes a study exploring different types of theory-driven cues and positive reinforcement on habit formation and present design guidelines for interventions that could support habit formation through contextual cues and implementation intentions. It led to ~£900k EPSRC funded project EP/N027299/1 and resulted in invitations to give keynotes on the topic.
