- This paper improves on the extensively used User Engagement Scale to produce a short-form that facilitates its use in more contexts. The paper has been noted as exemplary by Law, Bruhlmann & Mekler (2018) for having clear instructions on the administration of the scale. It was evaluated in the Brazilian POEmAS project and found to be an accurate and useful instrument for measuring engagement (Andrade et al, 2019).
