- Double-weighted statement
- This book is an advanced monograph that aims to present original scholarly research and promote a new area of enquiry within the framework of contemporary analyses of Islamism. It engages in a wide-ranging text analysis of primary sources, showing the way in which territorial boundaries and spatial imaginaries have variously been negotiated, disputed and creatively reconfigured within the Islamist matrix. The book is the result of research conducted over a period of four years, involving a conspicuous amount of time and effort as a postdoctoral research fellow and lecturer, which restricted my ability to produce journal articles.
