- A novel hybrid encryption scheme where two promising encryption techniques (SSE and ABE) combined to protect users’ data even against a corrupted cloud service provider. Apart from the research contribution, this work initiated the writing of a successful H2020 Research proposal (ASCLEPIOS https://www.asclepios-project.eu/) that is using the underlying protocol to provide trusted cloud-based healthcare services. The protocols presented in the paper, as well as the entire architecture, has been implemented by the ASCLEPIOS project. In addition to that, the company UBITECH (https://ubitech.eu/ contact: T.Bouras, bouras@ubitech.eu) is working towards adopting the overall solution in their offered products and services.
